Are you sure? I thought that at the last hot hatch shoot out, it was the Astra VXR or something? The GTI was just too underpowered comparatively.

Your right, the gti wasn't the fastest (I think the vxr and type r were faster) but they said that overall the gti was by far the best. If I remember correctly jezza described it as a sensation!

That means it will be an uprated version of the 2.0 TSi engine in the MKVI GTI.   :fighting:

I think this was in reference to the MKV. With the MKVI you'd have expected them to move the game on a bit imo.

not really...could be a mega de-tuned 2.5 5 pot  :wink:
