Love the babelfish translation :signLOL:

"The exterior gulf of the GTI edition 35 exhibits particularly for the special model created details. Thus the bumpers in the new Design light up, also in the interior to modifications were made. The signature „35 “appear not only on the fender, but also on the entrance borders, the head restraints and the seat central course. The Tüpfelchen on the i is a special key supporter. Also under the hood some does: The achievement is increased by standard 210 HP to 235 horse power."
Golf R gone.

Visually lame, and those wheels are nowhere near special enough.

Nice colour though.

So the Ed35 won't be a range topper then?

They've had to handicap it to sit below the golf R?

I like it  :congrats:

What do you guys want? I don't want it to be bling like the st, vxr or anything like that. It's understated, classy. As for the engine, no comment.  :signLOL:

It's okay, but really a repeat of the 30, hardly adventurous. The question is how did they acheive 235hp. K04 ?

It would be good if they did a little more like uprated brakes and suspension over stock GTI

Reckon it is quite smart, but where the hell is it worth the predicted money?

I know buying new GTi's is hardly the most cost effective motoring solution but I ordered my Ed30 new in Jan 2007, with Xenons and a Sunroof and that was I recall 23,300 ish in total.

Nowadays the easier and more cost effective to build Mk6 GTi (so VW tell us), is being punted out in it's 35th birthday suit and it's well up towards £30K. Not sure it's special enough to be honest, of course accepting it has to be pitched under the R.
Hope it's KO4, but really not sure it is...

Maybe they took sales off the R32 with the Ed30, and didn't want so much cross over with Ed35/R.

Roll on Edition 40

Which will have a massive 240bhp

It appears common with a lot of car makers at the moment that they just don't know how to do special editions anymore.
