Mmmmm 300bhp from a standard ko3 !!!!, if that is the case he is defintootly running something differant from any of the normal aftermarket modifictions that the other gtis are running on here ! wheather its some mad aggresive mapping on race fuel who knows ?

My car had pretty much all the bolt ons and made 277 bhp on the rollers thats Remap, Intake, HPFP, discharge pipe, Turbo back exhaust and intercooler, The car was very quick at that !!

Some figures i was putting down on the manual was 0-60 in 5.3 secs and a 14 dead 1/4 mile although i defo could of improved on 1/4 mile time although i reccon the 0-60 was as good as it was going to get, the best power mod out side of the remap was the exhaust  :happy2:

5.3 seems mighty fine  :congrats: but i thought the focus rs with its quaife diff and 300bhp out of factory only managed that in about 5.9

  :innocent: :innocent:

TC looking at your and bens graphs and following the trend of the lines through the grid its almost identical until about 50 where your line shallows and Ben's keeps on going straight almost looks like you lifted.

5Dr Black GTI, DSG, Leather, Xenons. Retrofitted - Cruise, RNS 510, MFSW, Armrest, Skoda BT, 6cd changer, Monza II's, VW speaker upgrade kit, Lux pack, High-line, new CAN gateway, Polar FIS info display, R32 tinted rear lights, RVC

To Come...NQSBBK, highline CCM.

Funny you should say that, this graph was from my duel with Hurdy when he had fitted his nitro, i left him for dead so relaxed and changed the CD.  :driver:  :rolleye:

Yip thats a bloody good time for a k03 tc , to be fair that was the best 1/4 id done but i didnt feel it went that well, id done loads of 0-60 runs i felt i couldnt get better than the 5.3 with most of them being about the 5.7 ish

about the focus rs with the diff, imo the focus doesnt put its power down anywhere aswell as the golf with a few mods

I don't underhand why the figures used are flywheel as this can only ever be a guess unless the engine is taken out. Surely it should all be at the wheel bhp as that is accurate dependent on the rollers. it takes the guess work out of the equation coz some figures are so far fetched some rollers seem to be adding any amount percentage.

is that based on personal experience or mates who have a RS or just based on reading forums/magazines? Just interested if you could elaborate a bit more...

No mate, i was going to buy a focus rs after i got rid of the gti, and i drove a few i even got one with out a salesman in it !

In the end the mrs insisted i got a 4 door so i ended up getting a bm but im going to be selling it soon to free up some cash so be getting a gti again soon !

As for the focus dont get me wrong i loved it and ill probably end up getting one when i can go back to 3 doors ! Its a lot more fun and envolving standard than a highly modded gti but  im 100% sure it doesnt but its power down aswell eg my gti had 30 bhp less than the rs and my car would hit 60 nearly half a second quicker ! Ive not even seen the stage 2+ rs using injectors, intake, full zorst and map making those times when i was a member of rs oc, the torque steer was very much noticable on the rs too where as the gti no where near wanders about as much, i think the 1/4 mile times say a lot for both these cars (when modded) the edition 30 seems to win most of the time

It seems like it doesnt mater what you do the rs it struggles to hit 60 in to the low 5s now imo thats got to say something about its front end grip, ive seen a few ed 30 s here in the 4s with stage 2+
