A friend i know who i play Snooker with runs a  A1 Powder coating Ltd in Southampton. He's the MD and said £50 a corner. Not sure what SteveP payied? but sounds a good price.........just gota convince the wife now :mad:

no , mine is the full hog, car would be away for 3 days, due to the time it takes to shotblast, recoat the wheels and cure.

How about White Pescara's, any thoughts or has anyone good on Photshop? on a red car?

That's a result, like they say, it's not what you know it's who you know  :happy2:

Mine was more that £50 a corner but Mr Greenouse helped me get a very good deal, it took them three days to do mine as they had some damage to short out as well :drinking:

mine cost £240 and was all done in 24 hours as long as they are there before 8 am (birmingham )
finish and colour is absolutely stunning and so is lap tab s receptionist !!!

I'm glad you've finally had them done just so I c ould see what they'd be like as I keep toying with the idea for my steel grey edition 30
Is the colour anthracite or black and are they painted or powder coated??

My last car was purple (don't ask!) and I thought white rims would look lush. Unfortunately no one else saw it that way. Bought the GTI before I got round to buying the alloys.


I'm not sure what this would look like, but I do know that white wheels definitely would be an absolute 'mare to keep clean :scared:

+1. This was the only thing putting me off getting white rims on me old car. Everyday I'd have to hose them down or something.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
