Xenon headlight disassembly
« on: April 11, 2011, 09:05:33 am »
Hi all,

After recently purchasing a set of xenons when they arrived the chrome bezel around the projector has come loose and is floating around inside the headlight. Has anyone split these headlights before and is it an easy job to do, failing that they will be for sale as spares?

Thanks,
Dan

If you were to gently heat them in an oven/with a hair dryer, you should be able to seperate the front from the housing of the headlight.

be sure to wear gloves when reassembling the headlamp though as you dont want any finger prints in there!

You don't need to split them mate. I did a guide here and its quite straight forward once I worked it out :rolleye:
