MKV content in EVO
« on: March 05, 2009, 04:02:34 am »
This months EVO has a write up on the RS and is then followed by a feature on how much a FWD can take and features Regal's "400bhp" Golf against a 400bhp Astra, a 400bhp S3 (4WD!!) and a 320+bhp ST.

BTW, it also has the new 670 Murcielago and the other usual tasty morsels

Will have to read this article !

Hope its a good read !

Anyone else think, since, Bovingdon, Meaden and carey left EVO has gone downhill ? ? its seem every issue to be all about Catchpoles infactuation with the R26R and Lord Metacalfe buying another 100K+ car !

Only if you are impatient to know . Usually after the mag has been out a while we all start talking about the results, but it would be a shame to post results this early on as some people will buy the mag and not want to know the results before reading :happy2:

I must admit they do tend to bang on about the R26R every month now. The car simply doesn't do it for me though as it looks fugly and has gone too far to be practical for most people.

I think that since B,M, and C left they have been trying too hard to compensate with exclusive's etc. All good for us, but the quality and incisiveness of the features aren't quite what they used to be. Having said all that, it is still leagues ahead of most if not all the other mags out there.
