Pressed plates

Can someone please give me a straight answer?! Some people say they're legal, some people say they're not and some people say some types are and others aren't. I'd like to know either way. I saw a s3 today with pressed plates and it looked great.

As long as they contain the correct font / size and reflective properties etc they should be fine, Dubmeister do some that are legal http://www.dubmeister.co.uk/webshop/uk-legal-pressed-metal-plates/uk-legal-plates/

German typeface or any other countries font is a big NO NO (unless they share the uk's Font)

As above, they must meet the criteria with respect to font style, size, spacing, colour etc. Provided they meet UK-spec, they're fine. Read the info on dubmeister's website.

Well her bumper certainly got a good beating :innocent:

Did damage to my splitter, fortunatly the Black wraps took a beating and not the paintwork.

Thats a shame  :sad1: but as you say its good that the paint is unaffected and just the wrap. You got enough to recover it?

With these plates have you guys fixed them in the traditional way, with screws? I've seen some sticky pads you can get, are they any good?
