Im not being funny, but my car does 30 - 70 mph in just over 2 seconds..

And no, not at the minute its not.. But im sure they will want the crown back   Good to have a bit of friendly competition anyways!

In all fairness mate the tests were done in the wet, so the 0-60, 30-70 can't really be taken to seriously. But times from 60-100 etc should be about right..

Yeah, I was looking at the S3 though, they dont spin the wheels from 30mph.. And should give a good idea of what the Golf is capable of as its running similar spec..

Manual though and driver not entirely use to the car I suppose. Plus it's never going to be quite AS quick as a similar powered Golf with it being heavier etc. But yeah, would of expected it to be slightly quicker too.
