Sand showers warning as temperatures set to peak
Forecasters warn of huge dust cloud as April showers to spread sand
However, showers are expected to put a slight dampener on things on Sunday, with some even containing Saharan sand.
Mr Mayes said: "Sometimes when you have southern winds, you get Saharan dust suspended in the atmosphere. It moves across Europe at several thousand feet above the ground.
"But if you get rain falling through it, it carries the dust particles. People usually tend to notice it on their cars. There will be one or two light showers late Sunday, but nothing to spoil the weekend too much."
