forge twintake or s3 intercooler ??????

hi folks. does anyone have Any idea on which intercooler is the most efficient, is it the s3 one or is it the forge twintake. I have been offered a forge twintake from an ed30 for £200 but as my golf only runs a k03 will this still fit also. cheers for any info

I think you are confused are you talking about a intake or a intercooler, 2 ver different things. My guess is you have been offered a forge intake from a Ed 30. in which case you will have to blank of the DV outlet.

i need to blank off the DV outlet as I bought Aaron's cai from his ko3, did not realise ko4 was different. so do i use a universal "blanker" and if so where would be the best place to get hold of one?

My ITG intake was off a ED 30 but i blanked mine off with a rubber chair leg cover.    fit is perfect and i borrowed it from B&Q

So its a forge twintercooler, coming off a ED 30. If so then fitting is easy all you need are the pipes if it doesn't come with them. Also thats a great price make sure it's not a chinese copy.

yes mate it's deffo genuine. the guys desperate for the cash as he's selling off all his bits from his ed30. it was running 440bhp. my brother in law is buying the car from him with it running at around 310bhp.

so which hybrid turbo internals is/was the car running? that should have made it one of the quickest mk 5's in the country yes?

I don't know buddy all I know it was running a hybrid and it was damn fast. it's one of the mechanics down at statller in Sheffield. I've just taken my gti down there for mapping and it's just made 285bhp and 330ftlb of torque. to say I was pleased was an understatement. steve, the guy who mapped it and owns statller said it's the quickest k03 car he's has so like I said I was chuffed to bits.

White one is Steves. It'll be the black one which is Kirk's.

yes pal it's the black one which is kirkys. goes like f@@k n all as it is. depends on what stage map I think. £350 for stage 1 , £400 for stage 2 but don't quote me on the stage 1 price.
