I notice on the American forums they tend to change their fuel filters a lot. Does anyone change theirs regular over here and notice any better running?

Once every two years I do mine as standard practice. American fuel is generally of lower quality - thats why they change the filters more often.

Oh dear don't think I've ever dine mine on the gti. How easy is it to change? I seem to remember seeing it last time I was under the car.
Is it pressurised with a release valve?

I better do mine as there was a little bit of black muck in my hpfp. I read there is a 4 & 4.6 bar version which is dependent on your VIN number, is this correct and any idea on price?
