Anyone used P-Torque to remap their GTI?
« on: April 11, 2011, 05:24:49 pm »
P-Torque are very close to me, and seem to have a decent following on SeatCupra.net, but I've never spoken to anyone directly about their experience with using them.

Has anyone on here used them please?

I'm looking at getting a DSG Ed30 within the next few weeks or so, and would want it mapping pretty much straight away.

Hi Yin,

Another face from DW :)

I'll probably leave it Stage 1 for a while tbh, but will go for 350bhp in a few months or so

What do you suggest I do?

Theres also shark performance down that way.
I'll be getting one of their stage 1 and a stage 2+ remap in the next few days, I've had revo, bluefin and PDT remaps on my DSG edition 30, so I'll be able to give a rough idea if they are any good or not!  :popcornsoda:

Nice one

My mate has a Shark map on his 1.8T Octavia VRS and that's making a healthy 260BHP with a few other mods.  He's very pleased.  They're about an hour from me.

I don't mind travelling though.  I've been speaking to AMD about a package consisting of KW V1's, Milltek Turbo back and a Remap

Revo stage 2+, but it threw up an engine light, No reason and according to Revo, a few s3s have same problem. Pdt Stage 2 was better than the bluefin stages1,2&3.
I'll do a write up on the shark once it's on the car. I can switch between the shark stages 1&3 and also the Pdtuning stage 2 file so will have a good idea of the difference between the 3 :happy2:

As Dave (PDT) said, I have Will's (P-Torque) stage 1 on my ED30 and think its a great map..

I also had their stage 1 + 2 on my old mk4 Ibiza Cupra and it always made good power  :happy2:
