I don't seem to have enough posts to reply which I can understand in the classifieds section, but I can't send PM's either, how would I contact the seller?

If you bother to read the forum rules, you'll see it takes 10 posts to read/send PMs and 25 to post in the for sale section.  :happy2:

  He didn't mean it how it came across, he is a Doctor who spends all day telling people not to smoke.  :innocent: The rest of his time is spent on here so he has seen the question asked a million times.  :rolleye:

Once you have 10 posts you are free to PM. Its just to stop companies coming on and abusing the forum.  :happy2:

I can understand the PM'ing thing but for us newbies wanting to buy a car being able to reply in the classified section (not create new posts) would be pretty handy and help the members to be able to sell things.

My post count is rising though ;)

It's to dissuade people signing up purely to buy/sell something, and to encourage you to become a contributing member of the community.

Interesting comments - I am also in the same postion as a new member but understand the reasoning.

10 posts - not too far away!
