Lovely FR neg. Complete bargain next to a GTI.
The Cupra R rear just finishes it off nicely, just a shame they don't do a little lip spoler or somthing to give the front a bit of depth.

....Lowering it would help the appearance. [just seen Jack rabbit's post]

Very nice car - I much prefer them to the Skoda's. Enjoy!  :happy2:

Thats probably a bit too low, got it booked in week after next for the sportline's so will post a pic of the new (better) height then.  Eibach sportlines are the popular choice it seems.

I'm happier with it than I though, almost enough to say I'm glad I didnt get the mk6 GTI instead to a degree... the Mk6 would have cost more and I would have been spending more on mods too!

Very nice.
Im not sure of the side skirts myself, as everytime i pass a yellow one on the way to work that has the same ones on i think they look like there on back to front.
Ex mk5 GTI owner, moved to a mk6 in 2010.

There not the best designed but the only one's available and it really looks plain without something on the side.

I know someone on SCN who had them put on the wrong way and he's left them like it.
