Dalby is good if your a mileage freak  I personally don't like it cos you don't get enough out of it for all the up hill sections! If it had some long descents then fair enough but I prefer llandegla, gisburn, hamsterley and cos it's local I like to practice and have a piss about at stainburn in Otley.

Good man I do like gisburn it's been well thought out. I think you'll like hamsterley as well Matt I've been a couple of times and enjoyed it, if your willing to travel Cannock chase is a really good day out and I've been told Sherwood pines is a top day as well.

I've been looking at maybe giving Gisburn a visit, looks good, be nice to get out of Cumbria for a change  :signLOL: looks like it's worth travelling for? My parents have a place they stay near Settle so might tie it in with one of their visits.

Hamsterley is one of my local rides... As said it's fairly decent now and getting better with all the work going into it. Decent dh sections for people wanting fun or technical sections although not the biggest of hills.  I'm off for a weekend at Cannock at the end of the month ... Any recommendations on the best rides there?

Is that TLDs new enduro lid Matt?

Cannock you can do the whole of follow the dog and the monkey trail in one probably take about 2 hours unless your stopping for breaks quite frequently?

There is also Stile cop at the lower cliff just over the train tracks, but best to get in car and go down to the other car park. Stile cop is more DH free ride stuff so is more of the bigger jumps drop offs and techy descents it's a good day out if your confident on your bike.

Cheers Matt, it's a fantastic bike that takes every thing you can throw at it :happy2:

Get yourself on Chain reaction cycles and have a look for some grips, but I'll warn you it's very addictive
