PM's listed as a conversation? only show as 'read' once you actually read them?

Can PM's be viewed as a conversation? i.e like on the iphone where it shows the entire list of all messages between you and the other member?

Also, is there a way to only show that a PM has been read if you actually open it? sometimes I will get 8 pm's but only have time to read and reply to one, but then it shows the other 7 as read, i.e no new PM's. but by the time you get round to reading them there may be another new load of pm's and as soon as you open the PM window they will show as read as well.

or do I just get too many pm's?

The only way to have it like a conversation is each time you reply just quote the PM. And what i do is have PM's as an email notification so you can red them with out being on the forum. Also if you save them all then input a member into the search pm's box you will get a list of all that members Pm's to you in order.  :happy2:

You can also save PMs sent so you get your side of the conversation.
