I agree - good price.  Where did you go?  And what do you think of the Pirellis so far?  I've just bought my car, and the tyres have plenty of tread left.  They're terrible - very noisy - but I'm too tight to change them til they wear a bit more.  A couple more 'Launch Control' starts should do it!

I used them once when I had my car had a puncture. Seemed to do okay. Think I'd better take you along with me when I need to replace my tyres. :signLOL:

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

does everyone tend to stick with the pirelli's as standard from factory or move onto something else?  When I had my leon it was Eagle F1's or Falcons that were the choice.

I use P-Zero Rossos and don't have a noise issue with them until they're very close to end-of-life generally. Problem is most other makes don't have a long enough tyre life for me with their performance rubber.

I have p zero Neros on and I think they're rubbish compared to previous Michelin and continentals. They're about to get changed to michelins again. However I don't have any real excessive road noise from them. I previously run bridgestone re050 which were superb but the road noise was appalling.
