Know exactly what you are saying, but the as an enthusiast the whole point of that stamp is too make sure the work was done properly and to the highest standard . Thus i keep receipts/records showing what was done, when and for what reason.
Its also the reason i prefer to use specialists / enthusiasts to do work rather than lazy unintrested dealers. money is not the issue !
BMw have some of the most shocking dealerships , out of 8 dealers i have tried for warrenty/service work i only trust two !!!
