So i've recently fitted my RNS 510 (many thanks to Alexperkins & Creatz for your help and advice
) which went surprisingly well for my level of DIY
. So with my knew found confidence in car audio i'm looking to install a mic for the voice control & mdi for the ipod. I've been trawling through several threads over the last week and my head is swimming with part numbers and variables
. Can someone confirm for me if i'm on the right track. MDI p/n 5N0 057 342- i'm looking to fit this behind the head unit, also i know i need the Mdi-ipod cable p/n 000 051 446c, but looking at these on ebay alot of the listings say not for RNS 510 (NOT 1T0035680) which mine is a version c. Is this right and if so which is the correct part number. My next problem is i already have the basic ipod prep fitted and when it comes to adding the Mdi i'm not sure what i need to remove or leave alone! I've found the kufatec loom for the voice control and seen a couple of threads on the subject. If anyone has a how to would be great! Sorry it's a bit long winded, as always any help is very much apperciated
