Wiper Blade adjustment
« on: April 08, 2011, 05:49:18 pm »
I seem to have a bit too much downforce on my wipers as they squeak and leave a 'trace' that is quite distracting. this is even after a proper clean.

Any advice for changing the pressure?

I think you can loosen the screws, although it might be that you need new blades.

You can slightly bend the arms to take the tension off but it could be as above that you need new blades.

Thanks, got new blades on. Thought that could be the problem.

No.
I have tried bending them out ever so slightly now, I'll see if that helps. it looks as if its been this way for a while though, as there are marks on the screen
