What a day...

In for its MOT today, knew the rear pads were really low so opted to have replaced along with an oil service/inspection... Phone call later in the morning to say one of the rear calipers has seized... So a bit more labour... Total a £300 bill...

I also asked them to log the car to check fueling, boost and timing... Happy to report, hitting all specified figures and zero timing pull across the board... Reckon I could up the settings a little till the warmer months come back...

All in all, bit of a shocker, but glad she's all ready for another years motoring... And all my suspension mods! ;-)

Insurance looming in March...

Insurance renewed for another through Sky, after beating all other quotes...

All mods declared on a like 4 like basis... :congrats:

Also have just had a text confirmation that a certain delivery is going to be made on Monday...  :jumpmove:

-RS3 top mounts and bearings
-TTs Alloy Wishbones with camber adjustment
-SuperPro front wishbone bushes
-S3 solid console bushes
-GAZ adjustable damping coilovers (350lb front + 40lb helper springs, 300lb rear)
-H&R Anti-roll bars
-UNIbrace XB
-Subframe spacer/bolt kit

Reported to be stiffer rubber used... Heavier duty bearings...

I take it they were direct fit ? I think I read the tt were stiffer aswell but in reality were not, let us know how they are once fitted or once you've compared to the oem mounts.

Is the bearing bigger on these ( outer )
