Initially there was a unthered which was buggy, they rolled out a fix not long ago.

I did this about two weeks ago. First time I'd JBed the iphone.

Fairly straightforward apart from the key combo!

I've only just JB up to 4.3.1 and cannot see the benefit of going up to 4.3.2.

I have got some brilliant special apps from Cydia. One is called Sleepfx which let's you change the noise your phone makes when put to sleep and animates the closing screen, I have a car alarm beep and an old tube tv effect. Another great addition is called Lockinfo which let's you have weather, calendar, notifications etc on your lock screen so you dint have to unlock your phone to see what is going on. I have lots more but won't bore you!

I have lockinfo.

How do you stop the blue notifications from texts? I want Lockinfo to display my texts.

Go into settings>messages>show preview turn to off. I think that is it as I turned mine off right away.

Infinidock & Infinifolders are a worth it but Infolock is by far the best new cydia app. Have you got the plugins for it yet? Like the weather and twitter ones?

Don't use twitter but got the weather one. I want one of the to-do lists but don't know which one is worth downloading.

Nor do I? I quite like using iCal as I sync my iPhone with iCal and Mobile Me. Another to do list does my head in. I tried using Omnifocus for a while but a pen and paper is easier day to day.

Another great JB app is Barrel which makes the transitions from page to page interesting and slick. So glad about JB as I was getting tired and bored of my iPhone 4.

Which themes have you found to be good?

I downloaded a cool ironman one but not all of the icons have themed replacements eg text messages

Black UPS looks quite good and CUPS HD is nice but I cannot see myself forking out for the paid ones. Saying that iFlat v2 looks quite sharp. I find they look nice but can lead to my phone lagging  a bit and freezing when i shouldn't. You appreciate how well designed the default theme is after you have stuck with a new theme for a while.

Have you seen the news that the white iPhone 4 is coming out in a couple of weeks? This is my fav website (apart form this one) for geeky news http://www.cultofmac.com/

I'm not really a mac fan. Still on 3GS. Think by the time my contract renews, iPhone 5 will be out. I'll get it once Otterbox release a case for it. :happy2:

Thanks for the advice, upgraded my iPhone 4 last night without issues

Im using Black UPS as my theme as its one that tends to have icons for most app. I used to use Glasklart. Once you have found a good theme, I find the stand one ok pig ugly

I want to make my own theme. Will be looking into that once work is a bit more amenable.  :popcornsoda:
