Needle Sweep

IS it possible to have the needle sweep on a standard GTi?

I read the Scirocco does it but is it an option that can be turned on in VCDS?

Cluster test... no point in it really!

I know someone who has home made and developed an add on module for the mk4 golf which will make the clocks sweep on ignition!
