Seriously though there was some awesome machinery there today that made me feel like I had brought a knife to a gun fight  (some of the the quickest road legal cars in the country in fact) and a F40 even showed up in the  afternoon just to make us all 
Anyway considering the company I don't think me Neil and Cohiba did to bad (especially againist the Hot Hatch brigade) at all and held the Mk5GolfGTI.co.uk flag up high  .
Wasn't the best conditions (40mph headwind), but proper enjoyed it and will defo go to the next one..
Unfortunately there is no pics/vids as RAF Marham did not allow  ..

Also had car weighed in road trim (minus spare) and was 1356kgs (1445kgs with me in it)..

Ben, when you did your top speed what was your speedo saying? Must of been around 160mph to get a true reading of 143mph

Its not an M6 ! he booked the M6 in but he sold it !

He took his stunning M3 vert along !!!  not bad for a vert !

In between 155 and 160 mate IIRC, so yeah they are quite out at that speed.. Although it's titled Top Speed, it is actually the top speed reached on the 1.5 mile runway (including braking area run off).. Longer runway and calm conditions would see a fair bit higher i'm sure..  

By the way the M6 wasn't a M6 (miss-print), was actually a E46 M3.

Any other day and I would have been there, but UD took precedent this year. Maybe next year eh

What gear did you start off in Ben? 2nd? and did you try different settings on the Revo? and if you did, which was best?

All runs started in 2nd mate and I did try 2 different seetings but they were very similar and with the wind it was hard to tell whether one was better than the other to be fair.. Neither was noticeably better than the other from what I could gather..

Not sure whether the jap boys will notice to much as they were in a league of their own most of them. But seeing the power some of them were making it's not suprising..
