Dust cover advice please

Same old story, I wash my car and come back to it in the morning and it is covered in pollen from the blossoming trees and dust from the heavens. Second day my lovely piano black paint work looks like yellow mustard sh*t owned by an uncaring slob.

My question is should I just get a cover and get all protective over it? If so which one should I buy? I want one that doesn't scratch the paintwork and one that is easy to use etc etc.

Tried using the search function but do not like using it as it never brings up sensible results.

Don't think there was much discussion about this.

Biggest issues are:

1. you have a black car - it will always be dirty within minutes of being freshly washed.
2. pollen is quite ferocious this year compared to previous years
3. as mentioned, car covers can cause damage to the paintwork*
4. car will still get dirty whilst in use (ie driving)

*not sure how much damage exactly. I'd imagine minor swirls are inevitable. Long term use will be more damaging (eg leaving the cover on for months) as the paintwork doesn't get to breathe (or something to that effect).

Car will get dust or similar on it even in a garage or under a cover...... just have to wash of the crud again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again ETC !

What we all need with this birch pollen cload about is

I have a halfords advanced car cover on the mk1 it cost ~£65 iirc its not great as the buckels are not in the right place but better than nothing.

Im saving for a good quality indoor one for them both now as the same as this one shown below or similar but there ~£200

Think I will just leave it to the elements then. Cannot be bothered with a cover if it is only going to scratch my paintwork.

A decent soft cover won't damage your paintwork as long as its clean when you put it on.......

Cut the windscreen out, and it looks simular to Greeners wrapped car
