Watched it on Box Office last night.

I thought it was good as I loved the first when I was a kid so it like reliving my childhood again but with better SFX.

I bought the blu-ray set of Tron/Tron Legacy.

I watched Legacy at the cinema. Loved it. Bought the soundtrack and listened it repeatedly until I was sick of it. Then watched Tron on Friday night and Legacy on Saturday night. The fact that I knew the soundtrack reinforced the film for me. I think Legacy made more sense after watching Tron - I last saw it when I was a kid and barely recalled the lightcycle bit, so to rewatch it allowed continuation of the plot line.

Personally, I would want to watch it on a large HD screen with a blu-ray source, but that's me.

Trying to look at it objectively, the visuals are awesome, the soundtrack is awesome but the characters and storyline isn't fully fleshed out. I reckon they could have made it so much better.

Tron/Legacy will always have a cult following.

*****SPOILER ALERT*****

Did anyone see the religious references?

God, Jesus, even atheism was in there!

The most disappointing bit for me was when Flynn enters the club. It starts off awesomely with Flynn powering down the unit, but then he doesn't do anything! I expected him to do some awesome fight/"hacking" (ie some Matrix-esque) stuff. Going along with the Matrix, the most animated/involving character isn't one of the good guys - it was that owner of the club.

The ending was a bit off. That whole reintegration thing reminds me of when Neo defeats Smith in the first film.

*****END OF SPOILER ALERT*****

Its a known fact that rhythm and dancing skills have a direct correlation to performance in the "would you category" Thats why woman dance around handbags and men stumble around spilling their beer. Obviously she cant dance to save her life. After taking this into account and also taking into account my nearly Jacimo status. Yes i would.  :rolleye:
