What do you guys do for bonnet paint chip repair?
« on: March 09, 2009, 01:47:24 pm »
Sorry if this is the wrong forum but I have now got 2 deep paint chips on my bonnet I need to repair.

Anyone use Chipsaway or done it themselves using Lanka?

Ideas welcome...

i would just dab some paint in the chip, build it up till it sits slightly proud then cut it back a little with something like Langka, i wouldn't have chipsaway do it as if they don't dab the paint in like you could then they will sand the surrounding area down and spray the area, which IMO looks worse than just a dab of paint would
