I dont want to own another Hyundai just to help running costs if i can help it.... :sad1:

Ive managed to keep the eddy for now, as long as my insurance hasnt doubled at renewel time in September, fuel hits over £2 a litre, or tax goes any higher....

Then i couldnt justify keeping it. :sad1:

If i broke down the cost per day extra on every increase, id have alot of pots over the house to put my 67p in each one

Agree with everything you say steve

What frustrates me most is that we are having to pay for the governments monumental f*** up of a budget over recent years, the result of which a massive deficit which they can only attempt to reverse by increasing taxes here there and everywhere with no good reason to do so as there's no visible benefit

The price of petrol will cripple the economy if they don't step in and drop fuel tax

ok...how do we pay daily  :stupid:

It's the lump sum that's the issue here, and not what it's divided on a hourly basis snoopy :signLOL:
Transfer into a seperate bank account each day/week/whatever by simply setting up as a standard payment transfer and it won't be a lump in one go. :stupid:

I have more important things to worry about transfering 67p a day, everyday, or work out cost pence per hour increase to give someone a witty answer in the 1st place snoopy :stupid:
Be in and end all, this country is robbing more and more from us all, and if people just roll over and take it, they want us to make calculations on how little the increase is.... but increase after increase just takes the p1ss..

Did you ever own an R32, ?? i remember someone disecting the cost per day on road tax and justifing why it costs so much more over a GTi..

Why should we be forced to look for cheaper transport?? sorry snoopy, this subject is a hot plate in my eyes, and if the running costs of my Ed30 were not an issue, then i wouldnt of purchased a 2nd means of cheaper transport..

 :fighting:
Money managment, saving or paying for bills guess you have never heard of the concept or how to budget.
You don't need to spend time transfering it every day its automatic moved, you set it up as a standard transfer. It moves the money automatically for you as a standard account transfer that way your not hit by a bill you suddenly need to find money to pay for you knew was coming as the money is sitting in the other account ready to pay out.
I was not been witty, I was simply putting it into contex, Its 67p a day, so ~a can of pop or a coffee! budget for it, save for it and it won't be a problem.

Try this.
Your going to say its a waste of time and i don't have time for it as most young people always say. Or you know the answer but most people don't and its a shock when they work it out. but try making a list of everything single little thing you buy in a day at first then a week and see how much your wasting on sh*t, all the little things add up.. This is why people like martin lewis make a living because people now are must haves and don't think how much there wasting on a daily basis on stuff and are incapable of budgeting properly. I had to do this when i was unemployed and it was a real eye openner. Some people after they try this still don't see it but after you explain it they understand.
I agree the country is robbing us but most people are robbing themselfs also by throwing money away and don't even know there doing it..

No i never owned an R32 and never would, as i don't like the engine and don't like heldex.

But feel free to keep posting with your smart assed coments and not bother with budgeting or money managment but a note of warning insurance has gone up 40% since December and fuels going up again so i will be the one laffing come September :P
