I lift them off the windscreen too. Looks awesome.

Wish I'd taken pics of my car. It was so filthy, it was grey. SF, 2BM and it was clean.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

i kinda fallen in love with the vrs...  :ashamed: would you reccomend a vrs?! found a couple of 2007 ones low milage ect just dont know if i can let go of the big vw badge!!  :grin: :stupid:

The Hankook Icebears of win have finally been fitted.  :happy2:

Same size as standard on a set of pre-facelift OEM wheels (Zeniths). No pichurs as it's pitch black. Initial impressions are fine but apparently they need a bit of gentle scrubbing in before they give their best.  :smiley:

They also reset the suspension and stood the rears up so they are back to -1.5 degrees.  :driver:

Also put some Philips Silvervision indicator bulbs in the front and some Halfords Ultra Brilliance Car Bulb in the main beams.

Easier than the pre-facelift as most of my knuckles still have skin on.  :wink:

Initial impressions are good but time will tell if it's anything more than a placebo.
