65 mpg sat on cruise
 Do you mean 65 mph?

Yeah I've sat at 60mph when I was moving my stuff up the the Midlands. Definitely boring.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Small update:-

On the day of the Birth of another Anthracite Czech Machine I picked mine up from some 'enhancements'.

Pichurs first.

She is a completely different car but not excessively.

So KW v1's, S3 arms, S3 hubs, R32 fronts and a Milltek.

She is real good now although all was not plain sailing. I had failed to supply all the bits for the new hubs namely 2 nuts which I believe was pointed out to me but I missed. :ashamed:
The R32 fronts do not fit under OEM Octavia vRS wheels.  :fighting:
Some missing suspension bits.

All of this has been overcome thanks to the staff @ JKM and their understanding.  :notworthy: :notworthy:

The only real showstopper was the nuts which came from Milton Keynes this morning.
The R32 fronts met Mr angle grinder. Mr angle grinder won.
The missing KW bumpstops and dust covers are on order and will be fitted as and when.

She now drives and rides like a dream. A touch firmer than OEM but without the roll. I'm really pleased.  :happy2: :happy2:

Looking smart hedge. Those rims look an awful lot like Nousey's ones on his ol' black beauty. Ever thought about buying them? Black inserts with diamond cut face?

The EOS ones Stealth? Yup thought about it but don't really have funds currently.

If I buy any wheels it will either be Speedline Corsa's or at a push TD 1.2's.
