JKM Rolling Road Day
« on: March 09, 2009, 02:00:48 pm »

Hi All,

Further to the feeler last month I am pleased to announce that we will be holding a Rolling Road Day for the MK5GolfGTI.forum on Saturday April 18th 2009.

Details below:

Date: Saturday 18th April starting at 09:00am

Minimum of 10 cars - Maximum of around 25 cars.

Reduced costs of just £30 per car for 3 back to back runs (Normally £57.50)- cash preferred on the day to speed payments up.

Our dyno is a 2 wheel drive dyno so 2 wheel drive cars only please and preferrably front wheel drive.

The dyno has a small ramp which leads up to it. Any cars which are very low will not get on the dyno. Please check with us first if you are unsure.

You will receive a colour print out of the best run.

Free Tea/coffee/Biscuits will provided all day

For those of you who have never been we always have a great day.

Past results etc can be found here: http://www.jkm.org.uk/performance/GalleryRollingroad.htm

We are looking to hold our 3rd forum meet around this time at a rolling road venue , but somewhere nearer the middle of the country so more members can attend hope it doesnt clash. It would be nice if we could get the 2 half's of the country together for a big rolling road day, then all the doubting thomas'es  can shout from the roof tops or go and hide for a few weeks.  :jumpmove:

Cool... :driver:
Cheers,

Wayne

I've just been. No point in going again unless I've modded.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Well im going to jkm whether its a forum meet or not tbh,Im sure a few guys from the midlands could swallow a 2hr drive south instead of a 2 hour ride north.
Its too far for me to go to Madchester to go on rollers as i expect the guys from there will say the same for a trip south which is totally understandable.

i looking for 240bhp this time out after hitting 236.3 last time out, with the milly and Green cotton filter, or if not higher hp, better torque as she feels alot better since the Mod.

Is Chris coming ??? WHITEGTI, Or are you due another timely puncture mate?!

My friend Spencer with his Black Ed30 stage 1 revo, told me he's coming along aswell, and will be regesturing on this here website shortly.
