One word, different! Until I put it against the clock I honestly don't know. Just because the car is bigger, different power delivery etc. It's certainly quicker at higher speeds, I know that..
I would expect it to be quicker on the 1/4 mile time wise, but then it will leave the line quicker for a start. The terminal speed will be the interesting part..

Love the new motor  :notworthy:

I got to drive a 335i at work and loved the sound and the way it delivered the power.

Power at Flywheel (BHP) :                      369
Weight without Driver (KG) :                   1600
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) :      234.33
0 - 60 (Secs) :                                     4.85
0 - 100 (Secs) :                                   10.94
60 - 100 (Secs) :                                  6.09
Quarter Mile (Secs) :                             13.08
Terminal Speed (MPH) :                         109.34
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) :               12.98
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) :           110.57

Don't know the exact weight, but even 1600kg should get you down the strip in 13 flat :happy2:

1550kg gets you under 13 seconds for sure :driver:

Weight is a bit out there John  :surprised: According to the hand book the car weighs 1545kgs (1530 for a manual) and that's with 75kgs ballast (driver) and a 90% full fuel tank.. That would make it about 1430kgs there or there abouts, which I think is a bit light tbh (I reckon about 1500kgs)..
Be interesting to get it on the scales at the 30-130 event next year to find out for sure..   But going of the result from my comparison with my mates Stage 2+ S3 (when standard), it certainly no where near 1600kgs  :surprised:
Yanks are getting low 13's @ around 106-107mph with stock DCT (DSG) cars..

Great stuff ben. As you say, Rob is a great guy and really knows his stuff! His own cars are awesome! So are the supercharged and remapped jet skis! He's done 3 cars for me now and they've all been spot on.

I've made the journey down there too each time and it's always worth it ;) does Darren still work there?

Didn't know you had dealings with him Jay?  Yes Darren is still there, although he wasn't on Friday but I have spoken to him on the phone..
Good to know you admire his work too and his toys are a bit special..  You can see 2 of the jet skies in the back ground of the pic with my car on the rollers..

That sounds like a bargain! And I fell for the 135i very quickly during a test drive after I had mapped one, absolutely brilliant all-round package of a car.

I love it. I loved the Golf, but in a different way - this is serious. Feels small, packs a massive big car punch. I can't stop driving it.

What's happened to The Clutter Mike? Has it gone to make way for the BM or is it kept as a track slag?
