....

@ Site 'owners'/Moderators : -

I think you should approach one of the mags and get them to send an appropriate driver to test each of our brake kits for consistent comparison and they can write a short feature.

Different forum members are likely to have differing braking skills and therefore discolour the results.

....The car owner can be passenger. In the interests of a consistent and therefore meaningful brake test I think that one person should drive each car and that driver should be an objective and experienced tester. Otherwise if the whole thing is just going to be a meet with a few cones it's meaningless as an objective test worthy of magazine coverage.

What harm do you think is going to come to your car, luca?

i thought you meant a magazine guy thrashing each car round a track. if im present then i dnt mind somebody else testing my car. its like you not wanting to run at pod, track wil do mord damage than pod, unless you launch at 7k lol

Ah, sorry. I assumed a brake test would be straight line from a strict set speed at a marker and distance to standstill measured or marked.

I think you can probably work it out better with a GPS logger, that way anyone can do it - indicated 100mph and stand on the brakes until it has stopped... not much room for differences there!
Sideways yo!
