Nice motor, the top vent should take all of a few minutes to refit unless there's been some other modding going on up there!

Thanks guys, interior was a big part of why I bought the car!

It's just on some budget coils just now but will be getting that changed at the end of the month

Yeah it's something to do with the way the fan thing is sitting inside, think it just needs pushed down a bit but will get it looked at when the cars getting sorted at the end of the month.

hehe carbon roof is full of win  :pomppomp:

Top vent is probably down to the insert underneath the top vent not being slotted in at the front properly - its an easy mistake to make when refitting that part  :happy2:

Top vent out, one screw to remove, lift it up from the back, reseat it, screw back in, vent back in DONE

Like what you have done to it Sarah, looks damn good :happy2:

Can I ask though :ashamed: how the insurance reacted when you told them the roof had been chopped out to put a carbon one in??? sorry if its a sore subject but I have been curious since Chris did it, its a massive structural part.

Sorry

Darren

I've got my insurance through HIC and they weren't bothered by it at all, boy was more interested in seeing pics of it after I'd told him about all the mods

Think I know what will be happening the end of the month Sarah?

I didn't know that the roof had been chopped out, I was under the impression that it was the first real carbon skinned roof, so it was done on top of the original metal roof? Or have I got it  wrong?
