Glossy Black centre surround
« on: May 06, 2011, 08:46:41 am »
Has anyone wrapped the trim around the stereo and Climate control console in black gloss vinyl?

Think it might just break up the slight dullness.

Thanks

Think if you are going to get the centre done in any carbon effect then it has to be the real thing, can be done for about £100.
The carbon stick on stuff just looks cheap (mainly because it is a cheap version of real carbon )

I like the piano black gloss look that some have done, think that suits it against the black of the RNS units.
I am planning on getting mine done in alcantara.

Agree 100% Al.  Here is a pic of my custom carbon piece to give you an idea of how it looks.

Was I  close on pricing? I was told about £200 for all my silver door trims.
And do love that dash, did you get a book with receipts when you bought the car? just that i'd love to know a price to get something like that done to mine.
