Contemplating viewing this Edition 30?

I'm in two minds whether to go and view this car:

I've HPI'd it which came back all ok. I've checked the service history which is all ok, and had the seller send more some more photos and the car looks good in all of these.

Just wondering what you guys think? I'm a little wary of it, one major reason being when I asked the seller for a landline number he told me he didn't know the number as he didn't use it? 

It seems well priced for the age, mileage and spec.

The reg is NA07 ZNZ but has also been on  V99 VVV AND L6 WES

If it was an hour or two away, I'd would go and see it, but the journey is 4 hours 20 minutes each way for me!

Ad seems to be pretty honest really and guy has put in all good info on the car, if it was me I would def go for a look but I always go over car with fine tooth comb to be 100% sure before buying..

If HPI is clear and service history checks out ok then sounds like a winner.

Wouldnt worry about the phone number bit myself too much as TBH I dont even know my home telephone number As I use my mobile for everything.

Yeh I wouldn't worry about the landline number, a lot of people nowadays don't know.

just make sure the v5 checks out with him and his address, ask to use the loo at some point...

Looks a bargain though, and they look schweeet in red!!

I was looking at this one too but, after exchanging some emails with the guy I was put off by his replies. I might just be being picky but, saying the car is class and using text speak screams dodgy to me ! He also said there is finance too! Ahwell the hunt continues, hope you find the right car mate, I know the feeling

I'm as picky as you.  I did a 3 1/2 hour journey each way by motorbike just to see the car I eventually bought (and went back two weeks later!)  I did several other 100+ mile trips just to look, too.  Top tips - don't buy the first car you see and look at plenty.  You're right to look at the seller almost as much as the car.
When I was looking (from November to February), I found most private sellers were asking the same as independent dealers.

Its alway been ran on V power (will not use anything else) and she is always warmed and allowed to cool down as to keep the turbo in best possible nick.
