Any one know this guy

Hi guys I did some work for a guy called Kash on his R32, the Canbus needed changing due to an RNS510 C-version draining his battery,  The guy fitting his audio system would not touch it until the battery drain was sorted, 

I obliged in supplying and fitting the Canbus also went out of my way and fitted it over 25 mile away from my home.  I'm not a business and did it cos he said he got my number from another forum member...??? Ive lost out nearly £150 due to this and cannot get hold of him but I know he has had a few show cars?

Any one know him and can pass the message on to send the money, Ive sent him numerous texts and tried calling but no answer

I'm sure this thread will get deleted but he ho you live and learn and I certainly will not be doing any more work for others like this.

Invoice the guy doing the install, if that was a legit business.

Failing that, if he's got show cars, then I'm sure a few of you will see him at a show.

Tony I cant really invoice the shop cos I only do this in my spare time so did it as usual out of good will for what I thought was a genuine forum member

Well, there may be a genuine reason why he's gone missing, but I doubt it. Sadly this happens all to often.

Sling up threads everywhere and ensure you take the pragmatic line of looking reasonable and wanting what's fair, rather than angry and accusing. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

I dont know him, but i did leave a message when someone was selling some xenon lights in the for sale section. A day later i received an email from Kashy Kash saying he was breaking an R32 that has rear end damage, did i want the xenons lights for my car. That cant be the same R32 that Darren done some work on? Maybe he works at a breakage yard. I still have his email address Darren, however i dunno whether that will be of any help if he isn't returning your calls/texts.

I think this is the biggest issue. You didn't give him your number and the forumite should not have given your number without your explicit permission.
