The best place for set up and alignment with coilovers
« on: May 03, 2011, 01:48:01 pm »
Chaps,

I was goingh to go to Centre of Gravity for guidance and set up of Bilstein PSS9, Neuspeed ARB's, whiteline, TT adj alloy bottom arms. But they are busy until end of June and made the point about being Porsche specialists...... (I don't think they will be very interested to be frank)

This leaves VWR, any other names out there. I have heard of 'Wheels in motion, are these the tyre people in Chesham.

I am looking for advice regarding camber, toe, ride heights, ARB settings etc. I have had three alignments and played with damper settings and ride heights, ARB settings etc. I am close but following fitting TT arms I am still not delighted with the chassis.

I really do want somewhere that is capable of measuring all settings accurately. I have had the car strung and corner weighted, Centre of Gravity seemed like the best place to get the best out.

Any other names ?

Have you spoken to TT-Roadsport? They seem to know what they are doing and have always done a top job when aligning my car.

I have used Wheels in Motion but only in the realms of tyre fitting so cannot comment about there ability to setup cars.

I think Tony @ Wheels in Motion is a member on here. Try a PM or Email.

You could always try us.  We can corner weight and have alot of experience with setting up high end cars inc running our own Lambo GT3 cars.

I have played around with my car alot and Ive now found a great balance with the TT arms, roll bars etc.  I am very fussy when it comes to alignments and getting the perfect setup on my own car.
