New, unregistered, was the sales directors order. But had to cancel as put him over the tax limit. If you believe that.
No Golf anymore.
Enjoyed the last five years of ownership of Mk5 & 6 GTIs.
Plus an excellent forum for knowledge and new ways to deplete the bank account.
Thank You Everyone.

Going to be great for keeping the alloys curb free (especially when other half parks)

This assumes that both cars are parked fully on the road.
afaik you would kerb your rims if those cars were each parked with two wheels on the pavement and two on the road.
Without traction power is nothing!

I was going to ask if the park assist accounts for the curb as well, with the Monza'shaving no lip it could be an expensive test.

Nice looking car, though rather you than me. £31k  :surprised:

Well to be precise.  When you want to park you press a button next to the tyre pressure one.
As you drive along a road looking for a spot so does the car.  when there is one big enough it shows on the highline as a gap, hard to describe.
Once you have moved far enough forwards you just select reverse.
It does everything except control the speed, quite freaky.
Thought we were going to clip the car in front, the parking sensors were going mad etc.

Bet there is a YouTube of it somewhere...

Going to be great for keeping the alloys curb free (especially when other half parks)Ooops Steve beat me to it...

As said be aware though it uses the cars in front & behind to line up with so if one or both of them are very close to or on the kerb so will you be...

Perhaps , if you could find one, a second hand R would have been in order...

I've not worked it out but I guess he's got 8/9% discount which isn't bad for a VAG car.

Wowser!! Indeed a nice car. And that parking assist is seriously freaky! Next it'll be driving for you...

Congrats on the big buy. When do you pick it up?

Deffo Leeds - Took the picture this afternoon.  Car is probably still their, they were locking up as we left.

Big Birthday pressie from the wife so may have to wait until the 20th

Think she was getting a little fed up - test drove a few cars over the past three weekends...  A4 3.0 Quattro, 330 Touring, C350 etc.  Wanted an estate car, but I love the little Golf.
