Nice car mate. Your mod list is what mine looks like!

Where in Essex you from? I'm in Basildon.

Not to far down the road, I'm in Thurrock

i'll keep an eye out, I am from Thurrock too (black 5-dr eddie).
which pub did you get the car broken into ? (I need to avoid that one !)

Have you got a private plate on yours as I keep seeing a black ed 30 around sainsburys/harvester of a morning on my way to work.

It was the Four Seasons in Laindon (hungry horse), it happened between 12 and 1 on a Saturday afternoon. It is a nice pub with good food (not that I've been back since) but if you do go only the camera outside the front door works

Well she's back and I she looks good, how all GTI's should have left the factory. Really happy with the results, had both wings replaced and sills done under good will, bonnet, splitter, skirts and rear lower bumper sprayed and fitted. In hindsight I should have had the front bumper done as well but its not that bad. I've not had the lip done black but am debating it atm but I do really like it all blue.

Got a list of stuff I want doing now, mainly a detail and wheel refurb/new wheels.

Anyways to much talk and not enough pic's so heres a few for now, full transformation will be finished on the 1/9 as I haven't got any time off until then as working 7 day weeks atm.

And a 2/3 shot of the rear as its not finished yet

Absolutely love the rear lights, did you buy them as a unit or mod them?

You can buy them but you have to mod them as the fog/reverse lights are on the wrong side. They was an OEM option for the european market but we never got the option over here. I got mine on here 2nd hand for £180 and they come up now and again. You can get them from here:
http://www.kunzmann.de/shop/en/tuning-styling-vw-golf-5-v-led-rear-lights-set-candy-red-for-vw-golf-5-v.htm

Here's RedRobin's review with more info on them:

love the colour

Thanks  :happy2:
