i think they all look pants! numberplates that you need to mispace just make you look like you couldnt afford a better one.

sorry to be blunt, but a lot share this view too

There are no alternatives or better ones they have all been taken hence why i have to use my creativity / imagination to make it work...

When I see those types of plates on cars, i think one thing..... c0ck!

The police will already hate you because you've got a porsche, don't give them a reason to pull you over and give you 3 points and £60 fine. They will pull you over and they will fine you!  :stupid:

... and they can take the plate off you so you lose it's value as well. So you want a plate for this particular car, not personalised for yourself?

Were not number plate haters, just misspelt number plates or miss spaced ones go hand in hand with 17 year olds, dodgy bodykits and HID kits! Rich put it well! Lol

I used to hate personalised plates too, just thought it was a posers thing.
But have found one I love, took me ages to find it, others came and went before I had a chance to get them.
Just need to wait another 365 days as it's going to be a 30th birthday present off my wife

Keep looking, there are really good ones out there. And if I see the illegal ones then it's a £60 fine every time, get through a book a week at work.
(I don't have any murderers to catch!) :signLOL:

Agree with all the naysayers, personal plates make a naff statement to most of the population. Is a bright blue Porsche not enough?

I've got a private plate on mine and it looks like a normal plate as it dont spell anything.. the only ones that look good are the ones without the dodgy spacing and dodgy screw caps, but I only like the comical ones and not the ones that say people's name..

just read this aswell
What could happen if you display incorrect number plates
The police can issue fixed penalty fines for illegally displayed number plates. Offenders could face a maximum fine of £1,000 and in some cases the number plate may be withdrawn.
Vehicles with illegally displayed number plates may fail the MOT test.

Have the National Flags actually become legal yet as I read somewhere last year that even though we are allowed to display them the law hadn't actually been changed
