That's handy that one can buy the complete lot as a kit, although since its an American site it's easier if you have a skoda, seat and VW dealer in your nearest town..then you have all of the parts in the space of an hour 

I fitted the required items and had the coding done, works faultlessly on warmer days, and opens fully on colder days if one of the other doors are already open (increses interior air pressure).

Ive just done this mod today & i got the bits from my local tps,the part numbers have super seeded to the following numbers.

2X 6Y0827550V STRUTS £16.24 ea
2X 1K8827761D BUFFER £4.60 ea
2X WHT006580 BALL PIN £7.35 ea

All plus vat.
