How to remove runs in lacquer/clear coat?

Today, I painted and clear coated my jetta front bumper but been abit over enthusiastic i got afew runs in the lacquer  :sad1:

Whats the best way to go about getting them out?
Any help appreciated...

A google search or a post on www.detailingworld.com would be your best bet.

But i think the only option, other than a respray would be wet sanding and intensive machine polishing.  :happy2:

Wet send and machine polish with some heavy cut compound and pad combo....maybe best to use a rotary as you can get better results as they tend to be more aggressive.
