The (short) story so far!

Well, after weeks of waiting getting my plates transferred due to the bank hols I finally picked up my (Rising?) Blue 05 plate Gti on Monday night.
First impressions were great, took it for a good run and instantly fell in love with it. Unfortunately it's been down hill since, Tuesday night the bonnet catch stuck so Wednesday it was back to the dealer to sort that and now today the Wife was marooned in town after it failed to start (Turns over but wont' ignite). Anyway it's been towed back to the dealer and after much head scratching they've called it a day for the weekend so not even sure what's wrong yet and we've been left with a Mini Cooper D for the forseable.
Fingers crossed it's just a few silly things and next week we can start all over again.............

Unlucky mate - sometimes the coil packs are damaged by the engines being jet washed by overexuberant carsales staff before they are collected by the customer.
Seems to happy pretty frequently to guys picking up a new(to them) motor from the dealer.
Im sure it will be sorted pretty quickly for you and you can get out of the dirty derv!  :drinking:

One slight plus point is that at least it'll be the mini being left in the one big weekend carpark, not my golf :happy2:
