Slight Vibration?
« on: May 12, 2011, 07:42:59 pm »
Every now and again when I'm at lights or stopped I feel a vibration from my seat, it like vibrates, stops, vibrates stops? Nothing major if I put my feet on the floor I can't really feel it just from my seat?

Looking at rev needle and it doesn't move? Only does it sometimes? Any ideas chaps? Hopefully nothing major!

If its only slight the needle wont move as it doesnt respond that quick

If im in N in traffic with it idling i often get a little vibration almost like a tiny missfire on occasion and you can just feel it through the seat

Do you have an aftermarket exhaust fitted to the car?

I get similar, albeit in my 1.4TSI. 2 dealers & my local, trusted indy have said its normal & nothing to worry about.

What would cause it to drop so low? Happens about once a month maybe twice? Doesn't feel like it's going to stall or anything. It was around the 500-700 for sure!
