People with coilovers . .
« on: May 11, 2011, 06:20:25 pm »
What have you got and what drop have you gone with? If you can remember the price that would be awesome aswell.

I'm in the middle of an email conversation with my garage, this is what he has suggested:

"Price generally dictates what you get in the end, so let me know what your budget is and I can work something out for you.
As a rule, I usually start Mk5s options off with Weitec then look at KW, H&R etc.

As for drop - I think 40-50mm at the most for you will be good. Probably a tad less given Croydon's roads..lol
"

What we think?

Cheers guys

KW-V3 setup by Volkswagen Racing. No idea of the drop, I was led by them achieving good handling for fast road use and occasional trackdays. Cost about £1,500 IIRC.

B.C Coilovers are top, they are fully adjustable and can move camber so can quickly set up between track and road, the best I have found for the money £700 plus fitting In my opinion of course   :happy2:

....What I paid included fitting and centre-weighting etc but I can't actually remember - It may have been £1,200 not £1,500.
