Xenons are a must, i have only recently got them and i wont be turning back. Highline is a good thing to have aswell. Will work great with your new toy

Tbh i've almost taken the plunge on a few sets of Xenon's but the MOT scare a while back talking of failure to pass with a lack of self levellers and washers kinda put me off....... atleast until it's made crystal clear if it's gonna cause me a headache in the future  :happy2:

Did you just fit the Xenon's and kufatec adapter looms or the whole hog with washers/levellers etc??

Highline for me would be a nice thing to add to my car, not a must have, but like you say is more tempting now i've got some buttons to play with

Been debating getting bluetooth in my car and a few days ago got an iphone 4s

Can anybody whose got an iphone 4s and a 5KO bluetooth car kit comfirm it all works ok? Been reading threads saying not all bluetooth kits work with iphones, if you've got a different bluetooth kit working in your car with an iphone which one do you use?

thanks
Dave

So got the 5KO bluetooth kit, supplied by Eddie, fitted today by Omeydz  :pomppomp:

Very nice bit of kit and fully working as we weren't sure if i'd get all the functions due to having an older CAN gateway fitted and running revised firmware on my RNS to prevent battery drain

Anyone thinking of getting one i can fully recommend it as it's a great addition and alot easier to use than mucking about with bluetooth headsets

hi dave, can i ask what does it cost to get the skirts colour coded all round the car, and i assume it is done on the car apposed to parts being removed,,, love your car,,, looks like you have spent a fortune on it, do you use a garage to do all the work or do you do a lot yourself ?
cause im looking at your pics and thanking - thousands - thousands - thousands, like your stearing wheel also - pity the little gti badge has gone from it though

Hi Scott thanks for the kind words  :drinking:

All the colour coded bits on my car have replaced the originals, i got hold of an ed30 front spoiler and rear valance plus r32 side skirts, all the parts were painted and then fitted to the car i dont think many places would do it with them attached to your car and if you were getting the original parts colour coded they would need to be smoothed for painting anyway

I've done some of the smaller mods myself but all of the serious work was done at a couple of garages local to me, as for what its cost me i dont think i wanna know

The steering wheel is the golf R/scirocco R version with the black button surrounds so its missing the little R badge which i could replace quite easy but my car isnt an R so im happy to leave that way

Went to see omeydz on Saturday to get some R32 highline clocks fitted and coded

Went from this

To this

All coded into my steering wheel and sat nav

The needles look soooo good at night and the difference from midline to highline is well worth the upgrade  :happy2:

Thanks again Omar  :drinking: top guy and very professional highly recommended

Dave

Thanks guy's im really pleased with how its turned out

Went to see Brookesb32 this morning to pick up and fit a matt black wrapped mk6 tailgate handle

Glad i went to pick it up from Simon as it took the pair of us quite a bit of force and skin off our knuckles removing and refitting the tailgate trim  :fighting:

Excuse the filthy crap pic but my car is filthy due to lots of motorway mileage this week  :sad1:

Thanks again Simon for your help  :drinking: very tidy red GTI you've got

Hope i havent encouraged you to get some more mods done  :signLOL:
