Separating Vent and trim on centre section?
« on: May 11, 2011, 08:55:37 pm »
I can see the vents actually come away from the top centre unit.

I have it out the car though want to remove the actually two vents to wrap the trim.

Anyone know how without breaking it?  :happy2:

Saw it came away from the edges though it was stuck at the front.....do you pull down or back?

Thanks

Takes a little force to do it as above but it will separate and you will think you broke it when it comes apart,
Had to seaprate mine last night.

For all the wrappers on here.....do you lay the vinyl then cut around it? Leave a 2 mm overhang?

Or draw round it and try to lay the actual shape of the trim?

Also do you heat, peel, lay and stretch

Or

Peel, Lay, Heat and then stretch....Easier to bloody paint it...
