Bluetooth for RNS 510
« on: May 25, 2011, 09:08:16 pm »
Sorry, I did search, promise!

I only have mid line so don't care about getting MFD to work, what VW bluetooth part numbers will provide me with the ability to answer calls using MFSW and to access phonebook and make calls directly from the RNS 510 screen, current phone is blackberry but I do have an iphone4 in a drawer too so guess I should allow for going back to that. If I am not bothered about white or red dot displays is my choice widened? Can I for example use a 730d kit from ebay? Not bothered about A2DP or anything like that, just basic phone functionality.

Sorry for being thick!

Cheers Stu, saw that but the 730d kits seem miles cheaper so wondering if they would work?

Hedge - you wouldn't want it mate, reception is awful, going to pop to the Apple store to get it swapped for a new one and give it to the wife.
