Scirocco Instrument Cluster

Hello,

I am tired of the blue Instrument Cluster and I would like a new one.
I like the Scirocco Instrument Cluster but I do not know if it fits on my car...

I read the highline threads but I did not find any answers there. Since there are quite a few here that have done major interior work I hope you can help me.

My current instrument cluster is 1K0 920 864 A. I have midline tripcomputer.

The Scirocco Instrument Cluster is 1K8 920 871B. This one has the highline trip computer:



My questions are:
1. My guess is that the new Instrument Cluster has the same exterior dimensions as the old one. Am I correct?
2. What do I have to do to make the new instrument cluster work (beside the Immobilizer password)?
3. Will the new highline trip computer work with my current midline buttons?
4. Anything else which may not work properly or at all?
5. This Instrument Cluster is sold with the key. Why would I need the key?

if i had to ask this question id PM mortygttdi, from memory hes the go to guy for fitting think kind of stuff over here.  :happy2:
